marketing firm, decided to pursue a vertical integration
strategy by purchasing a chili processor in Mexico, rather
than rely on 3rd party suppliers. They needed assistance in
choosing the best acquisition target. |

- Advise the client on how to negotiate an agreement with said
acquisition target

in Mexico
- Creation of criteria matrix based on the ideal partner for

- List of 100 companies was filtered to 18 -- all interviewed
- Of original 18 companies ten are visited and profiled
- Five potential partner companies selected by client
- Negotiations entered with two, agreement reached with one
